you’re a part of our family.
SVC Covers All Ocular Needs
From routine eye exams to ocular disease management to emergency services,
SVC has your ocular needs covered.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
Eye Exams are not only for vision correction. Periodic eye and vision examinations are an important part of preventive health care. Many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms, so you might not know a problem exists. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye and vision problems can help prevent vision loss. All of our comprehensive eye exams include an eye health evaluation, testing for glaucoma, visual acuity and refraction, along with further testing as indicated.
Ocular Disease Management
Dr. Josephs is able to diagnose and treat a variety of eye health conditions, including but not limited to: dry eyes, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, keratoconus, strabismus, conjunctivitis, floaters, and cataracts.
Emergency & Urgent Care
Emergency and Urgent Care evaluation is available if you experience any of the following: sudden vision loss, swelling, bleeding, or pain in your eye.
Contact Lens Exams
If you wear or want contacts, you will need a contact lens exam in addition to a comprehensive eye exam. Dr. Josephs will perform special tests during a contact lens exam to evaluate your vision with contacts.
Foreign Body Removal
Dr. Josephs is able to safely remove foreign objects from the eye (metal, glass, wood, plastic, sand.) If foreign bodies are not removed in a timely manner, they can cause prolonged pain and lead to complications such as infection.
Our Eye Care Mission
Stateline Vision Center’s mission is to provide the best care to our patients with a focus on family values. SVC uses the most up-to-date technology and treatment options that you expect from your eye care provider, but most importantly, we treat our patients with the friendliness, care and respect that they deserve. From routine exams to disease management and urgent care needs, SVC will provide the best, most personalized care for you. Welcome to the Stateline Vision Center family!
Andrew Josephs, OD
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Andrew Josephs was born and raised in Green Bay. He attended The University of Wisconsin – La Crosse where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After working in the eye care business for a few years as an Optician in both La Crosse and Madison, he started optometry school at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. In 2007 Dr. Josephs graduated from ICO and started his optometry career in the Oshkosh, Wisconsin area, which continued for 7 years.
After making the move to southern Wisconsin in early 2014, he worked in Rockford for a year before making the decision to open his own office in Monroe.
Currently, Dr. Josephs lives in Monroe with his wife, Nicole, children and dogs. You can find Andrew cheering (loudly) at football & basketball games and cheering (quietly) at gymnastics meets & tennis matches. Andrew also enjoys traveling with Nicole and the kids, visiting NFL stadiums and finding the best local restaurants.
Nicole Josephs
Nicole Josephs was born and raised right here in Monroe! After graduating from Monroe High School she went on to college at UW-Whitewater and Madison Area Technical College. While attending classes at MATC she worked as an ABO-Certified Optician in Madison. This is where she met Andrew, and he taught her all she now knows about eyecare (or so he says!)
Upon graduating with her Associates Degree in Respiratory Care she joined Andrew in Chicago, where she received approximately 328 eye exams as Andrew’s practice patient. While in Chicago she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Leadership. After moving to Oshkosh in 2007, Nicole worked in the optical field as well as the respiratory field. After Andrew’s suggestion to move to Monroe (he said he’d NEVER do it) Nicole followed with her idea to open their own optometry office (she said she’d NEVER do it) and Stateline Vision Center was formed!
Nicole is on the Monroe Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and serves as secretary of the Booster Club. Nicole and Andrew also help head up the Booster Club concession stands at fall and spring sports events. When not at the office, you can find her on a coffee run, thrifting or enjoying a sushi date with the family. She also likes to stay active at the YMCA, or the exact opposite… snuggling in for a nap with her dogs!
SVC is More Than An Eye Care Center
Stateline Vision Center is proud to call Monroe home and we are excited to partner with local schools, clubs and athletics to help create a better community for our families. Your support of SVC helps to make this happen. Thank you for supporting our small business!
